Chengli Water Sprinkler Truck: Mission Accomplished — Delivered in Under 18 Hours

Referred by a friend, Mr. Liu contacted Hubei Chengli’s sales department. After exchanging WeChat contacts with Chengli’s sales representatives, it was confirmed that Mr. Liu needed a ~5-ton water sprinkler truck for internal plant use. In response to his requirements, Chengli’s sales manager recommended two popular 5-ton Tier-III-compliant models: the Dongfeng Furika Tier-III sprinkler truck and the Foton Tier-III sprinkler truck—both featuring carbon-steel tanks with a 5-ton water capacity.
Given Mr. Liu’s urgent need for the vehicle, he learned upon contacting Chengli’s sales manager that the manufacturer had ready-to-ship units in stock. Consequently, Mr. Liu decided to visit Hubei Chengli Group in person for an on-site inspection. On September 24th, Mr. Liu arrived at Hubei Chengli Group. Accompanied by Chengli’s sales manager, he and his colleagues toured Chengli’s production facility and inspected the 5-cubic-meter Tier-III water sprinkler truck.
The Furika chassis is powered by a Chaoyang 90-horsepower engine, features a Furika cab, a 5-speed transmission, a 1.5-ton front axle, a 4-ton rear axle, 7.00–16 steel-belted radial tires, air-brake system, and power steering. The Foton chassis features a 3,360 mm wheelbase, a Quanchai 68-horsepower engine, and 650 nylon tires with hydraulic brakes.
Both models share identical upper-body sprinkler functions: front spray and rear spray, side nozzles, a rear-mounted working platform equipped with a high-pressure green-spraying cannon (capable of pesticide application), and adjustable spray patterns (heavy rain, moderate rain, drizzle, and mist). The pump supports self-priming and self-draining, includes a gravity-flow valve, fire-fighting coupling, and a water-pump filtration system.
Under the guidance of Chengli’s sprinkler truck sales manager, Mr. Liu quickly mastered the basic operational knowledge. He promptly signed the purchase contract and paid the full amount. Immediately after payment, Mr. Liu and his colleague departed for home, while Chengli’s sprinkler truck business manager began processing all necessary factory-outbound documentation for the 5-ton Tier-III sprinkler truck.
Since the Tier-III 5-ton sprinkler truck does not come with a factory-installed air conditioner, the sales manager immediately arranged for AC installation. Simultaneously, the manager expedited invoice issuance and documentation processing. By approximately 8:00 PM, all procedures were completed. The delivery driver returned home for dinner and then departed overnight for Nanchang, Jiangxi Province. Arriving around 6:00 AM the next day—greeting the dawn and basking in the morning light—the delivery took less than 18 hours.
