This configuration eliminates the need to run the main chassis engine during operation—allowing the vehicle to remain stationary and switched off while the auxiliary diesel engine powers the sprinkling function. As a result, routine watering tasks are fully met while significantly reducing fuel consumption. Additionally, Mr. Li installed a fully automatic remote-controlled water cannon at the front of the vehicle, replacing traditional manual operation. The cannon’s electronic controls are integrated with the cab, enabling the driver to remotely adjust spray direction, angle, and flow intensity without leaving the vehicle. According to Mr. Li: “With this electric water cannon, we’ve effectively eliminated one labor position—and the investment pays for itself within just a few months.” Furthermore, two rapid-fire fire-hydrant couplings were added to the tank’s top opening, facilitating faster and more efficient water filling from above.
