People aspire to live amidst the green of life—we cherish blue skies, yearn for clear waters, desire fresh air to breathe, and recognize that both the earth and life itself depend on greenery and health. Yet, with rapid economic development, our environment—the very foundation of our existence—has deteriorated progressively. Environmental protection remains an enduring theme central to sustainable development. Chengli Special Purpose Vehicle Co., Ltd. is an enterprise that regards quality as its lifeblood.
Water-sprinkling trucks are typically modified from standard chassis and equipped with nozzles for watering, rinsing, spraying, greening, and fire-fighting connections—greatly expanding their functional versatility. As China’s economy grows and infrastructure projects multiply, demand for water-sprinkling trucks is expanding globally. With the implementation of national automotive industry policies, stricter certification and regulatory oversight of water-sprinkling trucks is underway. Coupled with heightened corporate commitment and continuous product innovation, the performance and quality of domestically manufactured water-sprinkling trucks have steadily improved. Today, environmental protection is a top priority for China’s government.
Water-sprinkling trucks—also known as spray trucks, multi-function sprinklers, landscaping/greening water trucks, or water transport vehicles—are suitable for washing various road surfaces, irrigating trees, shrubs, green belts, lawns, roads, and construction sites. They offer multiple functions including water spraying, dust suppression, high- and low-level spraying, pesticide application, and guardrail cleaning. Dust pollution is widespread across many regions; due to arid weather conditions, airborne particulate matter frequently exceeds safe limits—a problem directly linked to dust generation (e.g., windblown or traffic-induced dust). Dust arises everywhere—even routine street sweeping by municipal sanitation workers generates significant airborne particles. Thus, water-sprinkling trucks must not only transport water but also perform continuous spraying while in motion. Technically, a water-sprinkling truck is a specialized tank vehicle fitted with a water tank, pump, nozzles, and piping systems designed to deliver pressurized water onto road surfaces via nozzles. Primary applications include road cleaning (to suppress dust and improve air quality), summer cooling, landscape irrigation, industrial dust control, emergency firefighting, winter humidification, pavement cleaning, and even influenza prevention.
In China, dedicated chassis for water-sprinkling trucks are commonly sourced from Dongfeng, Jiefang, and Foton—classified as “Type II” commercial chassis. Currently, the Dongfeng Duolika water-sprinkling truck is among the most widely used models. As public awareness of environmental protection and energy conservation continues to rise, the Dongfeng Duolika model stands out as an eco-friendly, energy-efficient solution. Its design incorporates sustainability principles—not only in its core engineering but also in component selection: it features energy-saving, low-rolling-resistance tires, contributing to reduced fuel consumption compared to competing brands—making it highly popular with users.
Standard configurations of water-sprinkling trucks include: front-mounted spray nozzles, rear-mounted spray nozzles, dual-side spray nozzles, single-side spray nozzles, high-position flower-spray nozzles, high-foam greening nozzles, operator work platforms, and 360-degree all-around rinsing capability.
Water source requirements: Water-sprinkling trucks can draw water from rivers, streams, ponds, or other open water bodies. When suctioning, ensure the intake end of the suction hose is fully submerged. To prevent ingestion of stones, excessive silt, or floating debris, a filter device is installed at the suction hose inlet—this filter must never be removed during operation.
